You Are My Hero
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I used the sketch for a star themed masculine design.
I used a piece of star patterned paper for the cardfront's large panel. To break up the pattern a bit, I adhered a strip of coordinating yellow dotted patterned paper down the center of the panel, then matted the papers on an aqua cardstock panel. I adhered the panel to a dark gray card base.
I layered a long blue strip across the bottom of the star spangled panel, then added a white strip stamped with the "you are my hero" sentiment from the For the Boys set on top. I accented it with a gold cardstock star and a pair of gold glitter enamel dots.
Materials Used:
For the Boys stamp set, Steel Grey and Cement Gray cardstock (My Favorite Things); Memento Luxe Gray Flannel ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Cool Caribbean cardstock (Stampin' Up!); gold cardstock; Boy oh Boy 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); stitched star die (Lil' Inker Designs); gold glitter enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape

That patterned paper is too cute! Love the stars and the colors. Your card is very nicely put together, TFS :)
