Here's my card for
this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I used the layout to make a simple "missing you" themed design.
For the background, I matted a piece of cloud patterned paper on turquoise cardstock and adhered it to the lower left corner of a blue card base. I used a stitched cloud, cut from Shimmery White cardstock with a die from
The Cat's Pajamas, as my shape at the edge of the panel. A wood veneer airplane was adhered to the cloud. I added a white pearl flourish to make a flight trail curling out from behind the plane. To finish the design, I stamped the missing you sentiment from
Mama Elephant's In My Heart stamp set near the bottom of the cloud patterned panel in black ink.
