I Love You a Bushel and a Peck
Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I took a break from all things holiday and wintery for this sweet design using the Harvest Mouse stamp set.
I colored the mouse image with Copic markers, then carefully cut it out. The image was adhered to a houndstooth embossed kraft panel using foam tape. I stamped the set's "I love you a bushel and a peck" sentiment on a red fishtail flag strip and adhered it to the kraft panel, tucking the end underneath the raised mouse image. The kraft panel was adhered to a blue cardstock panel, then layered on to a kraft card base.
Materials Used:
Harvest Mouse stamp set, Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX dies (My Favorite Things); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Brocade Blue and Real Red cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Kraft cardstock (WPlus9); Houndstooth embossing folder (Cuttlebug); corner rounder; foam tape
