The Challenge is back with a new challenge! Since it's the second week of the month, this week we've got a fun color combination for you to use--white, orange, teal, and navy. I used the colors to make a love themed card. Yes, they're not the colors you typically see on a love themed design, but I think I pulled it off!
I used the fun Soda Pop stamp set and coordinating Soda Pop Bottles dies from My Favorite Things for my card. I used the dies and orange cardstock to make a bottle of Orange Crush, complete with an orange stamped label and a contrasting teal straw.
I used foam tape to adhere the die cut bottle to a white panel with a navy cardstock strip along the bottom. I added narrow strips of silver and navy to the lower edge of the navy panel for a bit more color. The "I've got a crush on you" sentiment was stamped next to the bottle in navy pigment ink. I arranged a trio of teal enamels dots around the bottle, then adhered the finished panel to an orange card base.
Check out what the rest of the talented team at The Challenge has created using this week's colors. Here's where to find them:
Materials Used:
Soda Pop stamp set, Orange Fizz cardstock, Die-namics Soda Pop Bottles dies (My Favorite Things); Fizz ink (Avery Elle); Memento Luxe Nautical Blue ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Taken with Teal and Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver cardstock (Michaels); teal enamel dots (Eyelet Outlet); foam tape
